Artist: Jules Rochielle

Jules Rochielle Sievert relocated to Los Angeles to attend Otis as an MFA candidate in the Public Practice program. Jules earned her MFA May 2009 from Otis College of Art and Design. In the past, Jules earned an Interdisciplinary BA in Art, Art History, Anthropology from Fairhaven College. L.A. is home now.

 

While in Los Angeles, she has worked with L.A. Freewaves on (www.freewaves.org) and she is proud to be currently working as a Studio manager at Metabolic Studio (www.farmlab.org)


Jules is one of the Founders and former Artistic Producer of Miscellaneous Productions; based in Vancouver BC Canada, this non profit organization pioneers new frontiers in performance, art and new media while merging them with community development and popular culture.


Jules has worked as an artist, producer of festivals, and an arts manager/ coordinator. Her passions include community building, the arts, media activism, social justice, as well as creating access and diverse programming in the arts.
